Black-Owned Businesses: Shop to Support Now, and Always

Following the police brutality of George Floyd last Monday, protests have broken out across the country. People are stepping up and coming together to fight for equality – black lives matter. In addition to on-the-ground work as protestors, signing petitions, making donations, and making calls to government officials, another way to show support is by purchasing products from black-owned brands.

To support black communities financially, making donations is an effective and immediate action, but buying from black-owned brands and supporting businesses directly is a more organic way to show support.

Yes, there is a pandemic happening named Covid-19. However, there is still another pandemic named racism. We believe that we are able to overcome both of them. Right now, it’s the responsibility of everyone in America to do their part and offer help, because black people have been fighting this fight for decades.
